Noctua NA-SYC1 4-Pin PWM Fan Y-Cables, 2 pack

Allows for two 4-pin PWM fans to be controlled and powered by the motherboard.

Features

  1. Allows for two PWM fans to be connected to one power source
  2. Fully sleeved
  3. Supplied in a pack of 2

The NA-SYC1 is a fan accessory set consisting of two fully sleeved NA-YC1 Y-Cables for 4-pin PWM fans. The NA-YC1 Y-Cables make it possible to run two 4-pin PWM fans on a single fan header and to let the mainboard control the speed of both fans simultaneously. Multiple NA-YC1 can be daisy-chained to control more than two PWM fans via one header.

Please note: Common mainboard fan headers support up to 9.6 or 12W (check your mainboard manual for detailed information). Please thus make sure that the combined power draw of the fans connected to one fan header using NA-YC1 adaptors does not exceed this value!

Customer Reviews

Noctua quality, even on their accessories.

,

Excellent quality PWM splitter cable, allowing to monitor one fan, and drive multiple fans on a same PWM connector on the motherboard. This allows for nicely synchronised fans (I wanted them synchronised as I have a push-pull setup on a watercooling radiator, to lower excess turbulence and, hopefully, lower some of the wearing of the moving parts). Nicely sleeved, and not very long, but adequate for my use. Checking the build quality, it feels sturdy and durable. And if somebody looks inside my case, they can see some extra Noctua branding, showing I care about quality (even if it is not always cheap). Aside from that, not much to say. :)

Only gripe I have: Noctua packaging is WAY TOO BIG! Seriously, it is a waste of material and space. The boxes are big enough to put a dozen of those splitter cables.
