Noctua NA-SRC7 4-Pin PWM Low-Noise Adaptors, 3 pack

The NA-SRC7 contains three resistors for reducing the speed of 4-pin PWM fans by around 30%.

Features

  1. Reduces the speed of 4-pin PWM fans by approx. 30%
  2. Fully sleeved
  3. Supplied in a pack of 3

The NA-SRC7 is a fan accessory set consisting of three fully sleeved NA-RC7 Low Noise Adaptors (LNA) for Noctua 4-pin PWM fans. Connected between the fan and the power source, the adaptors reduce the running speed and noise emission of the fans. The NA-SRC7 is ideal for slowing down Noctua’s redux edition fans (see speed tables).

Please note the following when using this product.

Never use one Low-Noise Adaptor to slow down multiple fans. Always use one adaptor per fan.

The NA-RC7 adaptors are not compatible with Noctua’s industrialPPC series.

The NA-RC7 adaptor is designed for use with Noctua 4-pin fans (except industrialPPC series). While it may work with many other fans, use with third party fans is not officially supported by Noctua, it is at the customer’s own risk and will void the warranty. The NA-RC7 adaptor is strictly not to be used with fans that draw more than 3W of power.

“Outstanding response to a component failure...”

“I don’t often write reviews, but I was so impressed with how these guys handled a component failure that it seems unfair not to thank them properly. Having used Quiet PC in the past for components like fans (and always had orders turn up the following day), I bought the parts needed to build a PC.

The following weekend, I put the PC together only for the PSU to burn out as it was switched on. Concerned about the damage the PSU might have done to the motherboard (or was it vice versa?), they quickly (and without quibble) agreed to switch the components, which, as usual, arrived the following day.

PC rebuilt and everything worked fine - except the DVD drive (which I hadn’t expected to be damaged). Quick call to Quiet PC, and a replacement DVD drive was promptly despatched.

So I thank them for their utter professionalism, their help on the phone, and their no-quibble approach to dealing with replacing the items. Unfortunately, we know that from time to time components will fail. In my book, what matters is how the supplier handles that situation. They get a 10/10 from me.”
