Zalman MS800 Plus Computer Case

Introducing Zalman’s latest tower case, the MS800 Plus. The modular front bay design differentiates this case from the crowd and the smooth rounded edges of the case add to the overall quality. The internal cooling system is designed for hot air inside the system to be expelled as quickly as possible to maintain optimum temperature for stable system operation.

Supplied with four fans

The MS800 Plus is supplied with four chassis fans. The 92mm fans are designed to cooler the hard drives and any expansion cards. There are also two 120mm fan install in the top and rear of the case, these are designed to expel any heat generated by the PC. Finally there are also space available to install two additional 120mm fans if more cooling is required.

Graphics card support provided

Running down the centre of the chassis from top to bottom is a support beam. This beam is designed to do two things, firstly it can support the graphics card to prevent it from bending over time. This is ideal if you are a gamer who uses a heavy graphics card (see #1). The second benefit of the beam is that it holds a 92mm fan. This can be moved and rotated so the airflow points to exactly where it is needed (see #2). There is a maximum of three position the beam can be located. The best position is determined by the length of the graphics card used.

Built-in multi-fan controller and USB3

On top of the case there are many convenient features. As well as the usual power and rest buttons there is also two USB2 ports, two USB3 ports and front headphone and microphone ports. There is also the built-in fan controller which can control up to six fans. The dial adjusts the voltage the fans receive so if more cooling is required then increasing or decreasing the fan speed has never been easier.

Supports hot-swap HDD bays

The bottom three 5.25” drives are supplied with caddies that are designed to hold 3.5” hard drives, which connect to a Hot Swap PCB inside the chassis. This makes it extremely easy to add and remove hard drives from the PC as access to them is from the front of the chassis and not the side. Please refer to the instruction manual for correct usage of hot swappable hard drives.

Transparent acrylic side panel

The enhance the look of the chassis the MS800 is equipped with an acrylic side panel, which makes it possible to show off the inside of the PC. Also the 120mm fan which is installed on the top of the chassis has blue LEDs which gives the PC a cool blue glow to it.
